Manish Pandey ("I", "me", or "my") operates the Greenhive mobile application (the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.
By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Phone number — used to create and verify your account via SMS one-time password (OTP).
- Name — entered during profile setup or editing.
- Bio and profile picture — entered by you; stored in cloud storage.
- Languages and areas of expertise — entered by Expert users to appear in search results.
- Messages and attachments — text, images, videos, audio clips, and files sent in chats or attached to support tickets.
- Ratings and reviews — feedback you submit about experts.
- Support ticket content — descriptions and attachments submitted when requesting help.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device platform — operating system (iOS / Android) stored alongside your account.
- Push notification tokens — FCM tokens (all platforms) and Apple APNs VoIP tokens (iOS) to deliver call notifications and alerts.
- Presence data — online, offline, and background status tracked in real time to show availability and suppress unnecessary notifications.
- Call metadata — caller and callee identifiers, call type (audio/video), start time, and duration. Audio and video streams are not stored.
- Usage analytics — events such as screen views, authentication steps, call actions, chat interactions, and expert browsing, collected via Firebase Analytics using a pseudonymous analytics ID.
- Crash and performance data — error reports and performance traces collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance.
- IP address and network information — collected by Firebase and LiveKit as part of normal server communication.
2.3 Device Permissions
- Camera — for video calls and capturing photos to send in chats or set as a profile picture.
- Microphone — for audio and video calls and recording voice messages.
- Photo Library — to share photos in chat, set a profile picture, or save received media.
- Face ID / Touch ID — to unlock the App locally on your device. Biometric data never leaves your device.
- Push Notifications — to alert you to new messages and incoming calls.
- Local Network (iOS) — to improve call connectivity on local networks.
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings. Revoking camera or microphone access will prevent calling features from working.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
- Connect you with experts via real-time chat and audio/video calls.
- Display your profile to other users where relevant (e.g., expert listings).
- Deliver push notifications and incoming call alerts, including when the App is closed.
- Show your availability status to users you are connected with.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the App.
- Analyse usage trends and fix bugs.
- Respond to support requests submitted through the App.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
Your personal data is not sold. It is shared only with the following service providers:

Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting,
performance monitoring, push notifications, and remote configuration.

LiveKit — real-time audio/video call infrastructure. Your media streams and a temporary session token
are transmitted through LiveKit servers to enable calls. No persistent user PII is stored beyond what is necessary
to operate the session.

Apple (APNs) — Apple's Push Notification Service delivers incoming call alerts to iOS devices.

Legal requirements — data may be disclosed if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
5. Data Retention
Data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, messages,
call records, ratings, support tickets, uploaded files, and push tokens are permanently deleted. Anonymised
analytics data may be retained by Firebase for up to 14 months per Google's standard retention policy.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correction — you can view and edit your profile at any time within the App.
- Account deletion — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data from the App's profile settings.
- Notification preferences — you can disable push notifications in the App settings or your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. Personal data is not knowingly collected from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me and it will be deleted promptly.
8. Data Security
Industry-standard security measures are used including encrypted data transmission (TLS), Firebase Security Rules,
and biometric app-lock support. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. International Transfers
Infrastructure (Firebase, LiveKit) is operated by US-based providers. If you are located outside the United States,
your data is transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards including Google's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notification in the App
or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
